Senior Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide system assessment support of Army Aviation Systems.
  • Support the Aviation System Assessment Program (ASAP) by scoring Army Aviation field data, entering/integrating the data into RAM databases, and conducting analyses of the data.
  • Perform site visit investigations on current Army operations and maintenance activities to various Army bases to confirm findings in the data.
  • Evaluate, mine, and analyze reliability, operations, and maintenance data from various Army, DoD, and industry databases.
  • Support development of aircraft reliability and maintainability reports.

Requirements:

 

  • BS/BA with 8 years of experience OR High School diploma with a minimum of 11 years of experience as an UH-60 Helicopter Repairer (MOS 15T).
  • Knowledge of practices and principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications, and perform system integration.
  • Military training as an UH-60 helicopter repairer (MOS 15T) and specific experience on the UH-60M model is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the required level.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Journeyman Engineer

MTA, Inc., a Woman Owned Small Business with corporate headquarters in Huntsville, AL, is accepting resumes from qualified candidates for the position of Journeyman Engineer.

This position will:

  • Perform reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analyses of weapon systems to include forecasting, predictions, and assessment of performance specification parameters such as Mean-Time-Between System-Abort (MTBSA).
  • Support acceptance and inspection activities for assigned weapon systems to include in-process inspections, first article testing, acceptance test inspections, and validation of acceptance test procedures and special inspection equipment
  • Support FRACAS activities and maintenance analysis on various weapon systems.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to construct reliability block diagrams, formulate reliability expressions and synthesize system reliability models.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 4 years experience in a task related field.

Weapon system experience is a plus.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the required level.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Senior Engineer

MTA, Inc., a Woman Owned Small Business with corporate headquarters in Huntsville, AL, is accepting resumes from qualified candidates for the position of a Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability (RAM-T) Senior Engineer.  This position is located on Redstone Arsenal, AL and will support RAM-T tasks related to missile systems.  This is an immediate opening. 

This position is considered mid-career level and requires 15 years of experience in a related field of expertise at the program/project level in major systems.  In this position you will be responsible for formulation of opinions and decisions that impact the performance of the task. The ideal candidate will have experience in and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concept, assess specifications and performance system integration.

This position will:

  • Provide RAM analysis to include analyzing system architecture and development of reliability and maintainability allocations and predictions at the LRU level as well as Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) using RAM modeling tools and failure rate prediction methodology.
  • Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMEA).
  • Sneak Circuit Analysis of safety critical Hardware.
  • Support establishment of process and product controls to ensure latent paths are not present that may cause unwanted functions or inhibit desired functions.
  • Support review of design, test, and other technical documentation.  Support design reviews, IPTs and other meetings as directed.
  • Prepare reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Travel is required on an as-needed basis, up to 25% of the time.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and 15 years experience (depending on educational degree) in a task related field of expertise at the program or project level in major weapon systems acquisition or sustainment.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the required level.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
